In summer 2004 an exciting, entirely newly-formed group, Bill Evans / Randy Brecker SOULBOP Band appeared on the line-ups of European jazz festivals – and did they ever. During 23 concerts, fans of high-energy fusion music were able to become live witness of the power of an all-star-ensemble:
Beside the bandleaders Evans and Brecker, the line-up included Victor Bailey (b), Hiram Bullock (g/voc), David Kikoski (keys) and Steve Smith (dr).
This brilliant concert experience is now avaible on double cd, recorded during the summer tour 2004.
